The band they call PEE-ZOO

THE MAKERS OF French cognac Hennessy are putting together another cool party for November 30 with a sensational line-up including local stars and globally renowned instrumental jazz group PE’Z from Japan.
“Hennessy Artistry – The Global Art of Mixing” is back with even bigger roster. Patrons will be blown away by an electrifying mix of sights and sounds courtesy of Flure, the Begins, and Benjamin Plant and Aaron Shanahan from Miami Horror. The highlight of the night will be PE’Z (pronounced pe-zu), who since 2002 have won the world over with their unique jazz delivered with Japanese flair.
Saxophonist Kadota “Jaw” Kouske tells us what the band has in store for the party this time.

HOW DO YOU FEEL TO BE COMING |BACK TO THAILAND?
This time will be extra special for us because we’ll get to meet our fans again. We’re very happy to be part of the line-up and see it as a great challenge.
Our fans will get to see us perform live at the party while other artists will also be sharing the stage with us. We’re also looking forward to performances by the other invited musicians, including the Thai bands. It will be a very interesting concert indeed.

PROVIDED THERE’S ENOUGH TIME, |WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT TO DO| WHILE YOU’RE IN THAILAND?
If there’s time left after the show, we’d like to visit a few tourist attractions and enjoy some Thai food.

CAN YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT PE’Z |AND HOW THE BAND WAS FORMED?
Our band consists of five |members creating a sound |that is jazz at the core but with Latin and rock influences. It’s a lively and exciting sound that also contains some subtle Japanese melodies.
We’re especially confident when performing live. In order to appreciate what makes us different from other bands, you have to come to see our live shows. Every time we perform onstage, we aim to excite fans and raise their pulse. I think this commitment sets us apart.

All our fans in Thailand were extremely nice and very welcoming the last time. We’d like to thank them for their support and urge them to come see us perform again at this party.

We have a special surprise. As I mentioned, we set ourselves apart from other bands with our live performances, and our fans can look forward to a great one. We promise great fun so please don’t miss this great chance.
