There is much debate about whether it is possible to have a new government without an elected prime minister. "Our door is still open," Ms Yingluck (an elected prime minister) said in an interview with a small group of foreign journalists on Saturday.
She also ruled out a political comeback for her brother, former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, who has been the object of most of the protesters' anger.
Why does she not propose a government of national unity? People of high esteem (experts even) could be placed instead of other ministers who have quite reasonably been the object of the protesters' anger or have been seen to make unacceptable blunders in governance.
