Top Charoen Optical continues its charitable campaign of helping seniors with their eyesight

Top Charoen Optical’s Princess Sirindhorn’s Spectacles for the Elderly project is now in its fifth year, continuing to help older folks in remote areas see better, as championed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
This year the mobile application Seestagrm is launched in the App Store. It treats photos with 12 filters to demonstrate the different problems that senior citizens face. Share a photo anytime this month and Top Charoen will provide eyeglasses to an elderly person on your behalf.
Since 2009, eyeglasses have been provided to 25,000 seniors in 62 provinces. The target is 30,000. Top Charoen checks their eyes and customises the specs. Those with problems that glasses can’t help, such as cataracts, are taken to a Top Charoen Eye Centre for treatment. The centres provide 100 treatments per year at no cost.
Donations are always welcome at any Top Charoen Optical outlet and the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home. Learn more at www.Facebook.com/CareYourEye, www.TopCharoen.co.th and (02) 612 4710.
