Phuket gets to 'Sizzle'

Sizzler, which has operated Western style food restaurants in Thailand for more than 20 years, recently launched its newest branch at Banana Walk, Patong Beach with the “Sizzler Patong Bossa Beach” party that draw a large crowd of celebrities.

“Sizzler has been warmly welcomed by customers in Thailand for more than two decades. Every year, we create new recipes and also adjust our marketing strategies especially in terms of the restaurant’s image. Here in Patong Beach the decor is modern and colourful, which matches perfectly with the sea view and we also serve a range of wines from France, Italy, and Australia together with cocktails,” said Nongchanok Stananonth, assistant vice president of SLRT’s group marketing.

“Phuket has become increasingly popular with Russian tourists, and Sizzler offers a great alternative for them,” noted Russian Vice-Consul Santi Udomkiratak.

“Phuket is a big city and home to foreigners, tourists as well as Thais. Sizzler is a restaurant that suits the palate of all ages and all nationalities and now, with the view of Patong beach, is an ever better place to hang out with friends and family,” added Wisansaya Ponsin, a member of Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation.

Narubodin Wanitpattanakul, managing director of Alfresco Phuket Hotel, agreed. “Sizzler in Patong is very special in terms of its unique decoration and beautiful location. There are also both indoor and outdoor zones so customers can experience the sea view while eating. I’m a firm fan of Sizzler because the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.”

Sizzler is offering a special lunch promotion from Monday to Friday between 10am to 2pm featuring a choice of country fried spicy chicken, grilled lemon & chilli chicken and teriyaki chopped steak with mushroom. All main dishes come with complimentary soup, pasta and salad bar. The restaurant also recently launched a “Delicious Season” campaign that includes BBQ pork loin, fish and chips and Australian chopped steak.
