Moreover, trying to bluster through, as Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order chief Chalerm Yoobamrung wants, offers too many pitfalls and bear traps to be an adult choice. However, the EC, whose sole role in life is to efficiently run proper elections, is demonstrating a conspicuous lack of fortitude in grasping the nettles, and I fear the country is doomed to yet further fudge and fumble since no clear leadership is shown by anyone. The “baby” will be passed eventually and enthusiastically to the Constitutional Court to make some sort of decision.
