During the rearrangement, the programs cannot be viewed, and the broadcast will return to normal after 10 am.
However, TrueVisions subscribers can still view their favourite programs through the TrueVisions Anywhere application from up to 157 channels according to their subscribed package during the channel rearranging perod. The application can be downloaded free of charge on App Store and Google Play.
Manat Manavutiveth, head of Commercial & Business Development, Broadband & CATV (TrueOnline And TrueVisions) True Corporation Plc, said the operator would take the change to regroup channels based on categories.
“It is necessary for TrueVisions to rearrange the channel line-up to include the newly added digital TV channels which are airing at the moment. TrueVisions would like to take this opportunity to regroup the channels based on categories for ease of use. We are confident that the rearrangement and the digital TV broadcast will bring satisfaction to our subscribers.”
In the initial phrase, the trial of digital TV broadcasting can only be viewed through the DSTV system. CATV subscribers will be able to watch the new channels soon, TrueVisions said.
The rearrangement will result in the following changes:
- Popular programmes to run on Channel 1-10 on HD Plus box, and also Channel 1-10 on regular box
- Digital TV to run on Channel 11- 46 on HD Plux box, and also Channel 11- 46 on regular box
- News to start from channel 111 on HD Plus box, and from channel85 on regular box
- Movies and series to start from channel 222 on HD Plus box, and from channel 55 on regular box
- Entertainment to start from channel 333 on HD Plus box and from channel 66 on regular box
- Children’s programme to start from channel 444 on HD Plus box, and from channel 91 on regular box
- Documentary and knowledge to start from channel 555 on HD Plus box and from channel 88 on regular box
- Sports to from channel 666 on HD Plus box and from channel 77 on regular box.
