Opal gains a husband and loses weight

Women's Health magazine has newlyweds Smith "Oak" Arayasakul and Parisa "Opal" Pimpru on its April cover in a quite sexy pose. That was fast work - the nuptials were mere days ago.

The mag notes that TV personality Opal is now a member of a very exclusive club of celebrities who’ve appeared twice on the cover in a short space of time. “She’s not more beautiful, smarter or more special than many other women, but she knows how to use her ‘not-haves’ to motivate her to success,” the magazine says inside. (That’s probably a compliment.)
The couple does the requisite fashion spread and then the Women’s Health interviewer naturally asks Opal if she’s a healthy woman. Opal abides by the tenets that “what goes around comes around” and “beauty is more than skin-deep”, she says. “It’s a shame that so many people who are beautiful lose their beauty as soon as they open their mouths,” she adds, which ought to get a few readers glancing in the mirror.
She says she’s settling into married life nicely but much has changed. For one thing, she no longer lives close to work – her office is at GMM Grammy on Soi Asoke. “Now I have to drive from Phi Oak’s home in Lak Si, so I’ve become a morning person.” More drastic is the change in her eating habits and fitness regimen. “I eat a lot of vegetables now, a lot more than I used to! I’m eating healthier food thanks to Phi Oak.” Well, he is, after all, a dermatologist who specialises in ways to fend off ageing. “When we were dating I almost broke up with him,” she revealed recently on Channel 5. “I told him my tummy was never full after I dined out with him. I wanted to cry – seriously, I’m not joking!”
Oak is still by her side, though, and the unhealthy meals she was used to are gone. He’s also got her exercising regularly. “Phi Oak gets up early and exercises for an hour before he goes to work. He’s now into running, and I’ve developed the same habit. I exercise three times a week, which I think that is the best I can do.”
They both certainly do look to be in great shape, so, who knows, maybe magazines like Women’s Health aren’t kidding when they say exercise and proper diet pay off.

Last call, gentlemen!
We might be starting a hot summer for married celebrities with Dichan magazine pouring Pornchita “Benz” Na Songkhla into a sexy swimsuit for its late-April edition. Benz is a newlywed too, having only recently married her long-time boyfriend Boromwuti “Mick” Hiranyatithi, although the wedding reception isn’t until next Saturday. Dichan was perhaps wise in getting the sexy photo shoot done before she, you know, gets pregnant.
“I had to think about it for a while before giving it a go,” Benz says. “I wasn’t convinced about doing a swimwear shoot and Phi Mick didn’t want me to do it, but I decided I should take this opportunity and I talked him into it. I don’t think I’ll be able to do it again after I’ve had babies.”
She admits it took her a little beach time before she starting feeling confident about her appearance in the outfit and the resulting pictures. But it all turned out great and she looks terrific – so good, in fact, that “Phi Mick” might ask her to do more!
