The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled to uphold his victory in October’s election.
Virach Chanpanich, who lost to Worawi in the race for the Thai FA’s top post, had petitioned the Switzerland-based tribunal to annul the outcome of the poll, citing alleged irregularities in the election process. The court deemed there was insufficient evidence to rescind the result, meaning Worawi can stay on for his fourth successive term.
