Corruption, or the abuse of power, permeates all sectors and levels of society, and it can only be removed by the muscle of a broad societal coalition, including the rich and poor, all political colours, as well as the urban and rural people. Corruption steals from the poor by making them have to bribe state officials, which in turn makes their goods less competitive. Corruption allows the rich to kill people with their Ferraris or rape our forests and get away with it,
By joining hands to fight an enemy that steals from us all, each side can learn that others have valid points that need to be addressed. And this understanding will help us reconcile. In negotiating, we must understand the other side first and try to follow His Majesty’s teachings by looking after poor people and those facing hardships first.
Let’s all join together and help our beloved country move forward once more.
