When Prime Minister Prayuth said attractive women in bikinis are not safe from rapists, his comment implied that unattractive women are.
That common assumption means that if an “unattractive” woman tells the police she was raped, they may think she’s having a fantasy. Yet a rape victim could be a four-year-old girl or an 80-year-old woman.
Besides, who’s to say what’s unattractive? I've known women who I thought were ugly yet they had boyfriends or husbands. If men only had sex with beautiful women humans would now be an endangered species!
