Carnivores are imposing their philosophy

Thank you, Jenny! I was wondering why I’m usually the only letter-writer who comes to the defence of farm animals.
Jenny is right. While most of us love dogs, farm animals are entitled to the same moral consideration. In fact a pig is more intelligent than a dog and is an extremely affectionate animal. While people accuse me of imposing my vegetarian philosophy on them, meat-eaters are imposing their meat-eating philosophy on the animals they consume.
Although I honestly hate making people mad, I will never turn my back on the farm animals (as well as the fish) as long as I live.
