Burin Kantabutra is excellent and thoughtful when writing about Thai issues, but has a blind side when it comes to the US.
Burin should read what average Americans write as comments on US news-media websites and what US news media themselves are now saying about government threats, interference and harassment aimed at news media.
The average American knows this saying well: “Nothing is as it seems.”
The US is about survival of the fittest at the expense of the weaker, and the ends justify the means.
