Banning junta appointees is a stunning idea

Re: "Members of junta-appointed agencies 'must be barred'", News, March 5.

I am stunned that the sub-panel of the Constitution Drafting Committee led by Jade Donavanik would show such logic and daring to suggest that those currently in power, including the prime minister, Cabinet members, lawmakers and reform council, plus the CDC, should be banned from politics for two years when they complete their assignment of putting Thailand on the right track. I salute the sub-panel and your headline for stating what is obviously and ethically indisputable – though unlikely to be followed.
