Get tidal: waves are another form of alternative energy
Tidal energy to produce electricity is the wave of the future. Thailand will get on board eventually, but in typical fashion, will follow the crowd and wind up being 10-25 years behind the countries at the vanguard.
Could Thai engineers be adding to the development of alternative energy? In theory, yes, but they would likely need to be made aware of the “state of the art”, and get support from big business and/or government – two entities that can’t see beyond the tip of their golf clubs because of the inbred haze of their archaic thinking.
Tidal energy cometh. It doesn’t need big breakers like those in Hawaii to be feasible. Waves far from shore are plenty big enough, as some of the best new designs use the differential between high and low water levels as propulsion to drive the generators that create the DC power.
