Thailand’s political crisis is too deep-rooted and protracted to explain in a few words, and it will not be solved by pointing an accusing finger at any one person or group.
Western countries should pause to consider the facts of the matter before they swallow the blasphemous and hostile propaganda fed to them by one side of Thailand’s political divide.
At the same time, Thaksin should realise that if Thailand were to return to democracy now, as he demands, it might benefit him and his family, but it wouldn’t help the country as a whole.
Hence, all sides must be patient and wait for the right moment – and try not to stir up any more trouble for the country.
