Why is Fox's right-wing screaming so popular here?

As an American who has travelled all over Thailand, I'd like to know why it is that in every place I visit the only American television "news" station I can get is Fox. Essentially, Fox programmes are little more than an endless parade of right-wing mania
To create the illusion of being fair and balanced, Fox will occasionally have guests posing as “liberals”, such as Kirsten Powers (who recently wrote a book trashing liberals) and the goofy Alan Colmes, who Bill O’Reilly literally tells to “shut up”.
With another presidential election around the corner, I’m very upset that the only American television coverage I’m going to see about the candidates will smear Clinton, while all the Republicans, with the exception of the anti-war candidate Rand Paul, will be portrayed as wonderful potential presidents.
Why does Fox get to control virtually all American television “news” reporting in Thailand?
