If I’m late paying my rent I’m out on the street, and Greece should be out of the EC until such time as they can... on their own … get rid of the corruption, the ridiculous early retirement and start paying taxes to run the country (as well as prosecuting the thieving politicians who made off with the last bailout).
They need to go it alone for 10 years and the EC needs to learn a lesson from attaching itself to a greedy third-world country. Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand are all in better shape than Greece. Why? Because the population has to look after themselves and doesn’t look for handouts.
A work ethic and sense of responsibility are sadly missing in Greece. If the EC yields to the Greek demands then it’s time for the UK to run from being part of a draining money pit.
