Is the planet warming? No, it isn’t.
This September, the Earth will have completed its 21st year without a statistically significant warming trend, according to satellite-derived temperature data. Since September 1994, the University of Alabama’s satellite temperature data has shown no significant trend global warming trend. The satellite data covers the lowest few kilometres of the Earth’s atmosphere.
Satellite data from the Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) group also shows a prolonged “hiatus” in global warming. In November of this year, RSS data will have shown 21 continuous years without warming. The “hiatus” in warming started when then-vice president Al Gore and environmental groups touted RSS satellite data as evidence of a slight warming trend since 1979.
It’s a shame then that Thailand’s naive climate scientists have fallen for the climate-change hoax. This may negatively affect the country’s development plans for power generation, not to mention leaving it prey to carbon-tax scams.
