A plea to General Prayut

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is used to telling the media and public that they should be helping him to make Thailand happier.

Now that central Bangkok has suffered a devastating attack, which killed at least 20 people, the people are asking their government in return to help us prevent any further deadly bomb attacks.
Whenever a devastating incident like this happens in another country, we often see the head of government quickly appear on the scene – sometimes even in the wee hours – to show concern and to assure the public that the police and related agencies are doing their best to solve the case and catch the culprits.
To be frank, seeing just the chief of police at the scene on Monday night did not offer the necessary assurance that the government is serious about getting to the bottom of this devastating and deadly bombing.
That is why we are calling out to Prayut: We need help, please!
