Tissue alert: Golf pulls no punches, but his baby girl will love it

Rapper Supagit "Golf" Puntajack, who uses the stage name Fornicating Hero except that it's not Fornicating, is definitely going to be a hero for his baby girl Chujai, starting with her name.

He plucked it from a 1978 school textbook that was popular with students because of its memorable stories and characters. Chujai means “lift up your heart”, and that’s what she does for Golf.
Still in diapers, Chujai is already her father’s muse, inspiring a song that’s certainly not a sweet lullaby but rather a rap about the dark side of the world that little girls sometimes have to face.
“You might be punished because you’re not good at school,” Golf warns. “Your seniors might beat the crap out of you and take all your money. There is tons of suffering, starting from the day your mum force-feeds bitter medicine to you. Loads of problems are waiting for you. Problems like gum in your hair and people waiting to jeer at you.”
Yikes! We can’t wait to hear Chujai’s reaction when she’s old enough to soak it in. But her old man gets more reassuring as the song goes on.
“Just ignore it. You are my little girl. Humans like us have to realise all the pain we have to bear.” And he reminds his little girl that she’ll always have a place to call home.
“Please don’t look at the world as a dark place to live. Above all, that money, jewellery and virginity, you have to realise that even when it hurts so bad, don’t slash yourself, because one wound, one drop of blood is your mama’s blood too. Even when you hurt so bad, please come back to your mama. Sink in her bosom and simply close your eyes.”
Feel better now? Not entirely? Us neither, but obviously her papa’s heart is in the right place.
As reported here previously, Golf previewed the tune for Udom “Nose” Taepanich, and the stand-up comic was so moved that he gave Golf the cash he needed to buy the rights to sample of a music clip he needed for the track. News of Nose’s generosity ensured that the song would be a hit, and Golf and his wife Belle first thought they’d spend the substantial income from sales on their home, but now they’ve decided to give it all to an orphanage.
“My bro Nose gave me the money and helped us contact the music company to buy the rights to the sample, and Top, my producer, did this track for free,” Golf has announced, “so the cost of this song is zero. I thought, ‘How we could ever think of making a profit from this song?’ So I’ve decided to ‘pay it forward’. Won’t it be nice if the song we created for my baby girl can help other babies who don’t have anyone to hold them?
“I told my wife to remember the original objective of the song – our message to our girl that she should be a giver, not a taker. Money is important, but it’s not the main reason for living. We should set an example for her. My wife said that was exactly what she wanted to do. I am so proud of her, and I know that my little girl Chujai will be proud to have a mother like her.”
