OFFERING ANOTHER way to share in and appreciate the earth’s natural bounty, Central Department Stores has assembled a wide range of home decor items and tableware made from wood, marble, cotton and clay (in the form of ceramics, that is).
The products’ designers are all “eco-friendly” in the way they take inspiration from Mother Nature and her wild and woodland creatures to create a nurturing natural atmosphere for the home. The colours are earth tones, navy blue and green.
Check out the curving wooden vases, other vases that resemble lotus blossoms, trays in different forms, wooden photo frames, tissue holders and games, cotton pillows with butterfly prints, and bookends in the shape of leaping deer.
Recalling fond memories of visits to the seashore, there are candlesticks that look like coral, ceramic seahorse sculptures, hourglasses and an antique compass complete with a magnifying glass.
