JC Wilcox once again writes in support of Donald Trump, claiming he stands above the rest of the US presidential candidates. I concur with that view: Trump is the most entertaining, the most ignorant, the most bullying, the most egocentric and the most unfit to become president of the United States.
How any reasonable person can admire Trump is beyond me, since the last few months have shown he is nothing but a sloganeering bully with no understanding of world politics or economics. When asked how he would create jobs, his answer was “I will just do it!”
It is well documented that he changes his views frequently (even Republicans have accused him of having had Democrat opinions in the past). Meanwhile he castigates fellow Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina for her bad business record, but forgets to mention that he has gone bankrupt four times. More recently Trump insulted Fiorina by stating she is too ugly to become president and called women fat cows, and Mexicans rapists and criminals. Asked a tricky question by a female reporter, his retort was to suggest she must be menstruating.
All this says enough about the psychological makeup of Trump. He showed his ignorance when he stated that the US has the highest tax rates in the world. In fact, European tax rates are two to four times higher!
His debating style demonstrates he is unfit to perform on the world stage. Anyone who disagrees with him is immediately shot down amid a broad refusal to acknowledge that truth is multifaceted. Does Trump really believe that he could bully Xi or Putin without having to make any compromises? In the real world, politics is a game of give-and-take, not “bully takes all”.
The quicker Trump is ousted from this contest, the better for America and the world.
