Melt Me shops unveil "healthy" holiday collections

THE NEW YEAR season just seems happier with chocolate, and fortuitously the festivities this year are blessed with “The Magic of Chocolate”, courtesy of Melt Me Fresh Hokkaido Chocolate and Gelato.
There are two gift packs available – “The Magic of Origin” and “The Magic of Taste”, both created by French pastry chef Frederic Bourse and Ing Passakornnatee.
The recent launch drew a slew of sweet-toothed celebrities, including Warisa Passakornnatee, MR Maennaruemas Yukol, Kratchpetch Issara, Charuchit and Pimlert Baiyok, ML Rangsitorn Panupan, Duangkamon Wepula and Akkararat Wannarat.
Ing and Bourse have decorated the Melt Me shop at Arena 10 on Soi Thonglor for the grand unveiling of their new lines.
The Magic of Origin is premium dark chocolate from four countries renowned for their high-quality cocoa – Ecuador, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Tanzania. It’s made with chocolate lovers in mind who prefer the densest possible chocolate flavour.
The Magic of Taste also features dark chocolate, but with fillings such as pralines in 12 shades, a delight for all ages.
“The elements that go into cocoa – the water, air, the way it’s cultivated – create unique tastes in the chocolate,” Ing said.
“To be healthy, chocolate must have a high percentage of cocoa and cocoa butter and be soluble at 34 degrees Celsius, close to body temperature. Eating high-percentage chocolate, over 70 per cent, is good for the heart and relaxes the body due to the flavonoids in good-quality chocolate. When eaten, there should be no sticky sensation in the mouth.”
The Magic of Chocolate is now on sale at all branches of Melt Me Fresh Hokkaido Chocolate and Gelato. Find out more at (090) 880 9567, “Melt-Me” on Facebook and “MeltMe_Chocolate” on Instagram.
