High time for legal cannabis

High time for legal cannabis

Twenty-seven countries allow hemp to be grown legally, either by farmers or as research projects. More than half the US states allow the cultivation of this non-THC member of the cannabis family. Hemp is a very useful crop - more valuable and much more nu

Hemp’s THC-laden cousin should also be legalised. Currently six US states allow individuals to grow pot. Pot has health benefits and enables regular people to make money. Peddlers of alcoholic drinks needn’t fear a loss of income since studies have shown that pot smokers enjoy drinking alcohol when high. The many claims that pot puts cancer in remission can’t all be wrong, can they?  Do a Google search for “pot and health” and you get 138 million hits. What are Thai leaders doing to help farmers and/or improve the wellbeing of Thai folks? They’re paranoid about losing their grip on power.
