Prepared for galactic battle

There are seemingly more Star Wars merchandise tie-ins than galaxies in the universe, but popular American sportswear brand Under Armour is an early stand-out its “Star Wars: The Imperial Collection” of printed T-shirts in the same black and white tones as the space warriors in the movies.

The shirts are made using “Compression” base-layer technology for ultra-tight, second-skin fit, so that you feel as securely locked in as an astronaut leaving his orbiting capsule.

The full armour cladding Darth Vader, one of film history’s most emblematic villains, is imprinted on one T-shirt, while another black Compression shirt bears the words “The dark side”, the instantly recognisable catch-phrase from the film series. Yet another resembles the pristine white armour of the Storm Troopers, elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire.
