The writer completely misses the most essential point: Islam is a totalitarian political ideology posing as a religion, whereas Christianity is an apolitical, pure religion.
A true Christian can live quite freely in any democracy. A true Muslim cannot, because Islam by its fundamental nature is incompatible with democracy. US Senator Rick Santorum recently asserted that Islam does not qualify as a religion under the First Amendment to America’s constitution. Islam not only denies the right of other religions to exist, but its ultimate objective is to obliterate that constitution and establish sharia law here in the US.
The ancient Romans were similarly totalitarian. They persecuted Christians and anything they perceived as a threat to their absolute control. Roman democracy only existed among the elite. Christians could not practise their religion under Roman governance – it was an “either or” situation, Rome or Christianity.
Muslims who claim to be moderate and peaceful are not true Muslims. A true Muslim must follow the principles set out in the Sira, the Hadiths and the Quran. Knowledge of these will reveal the true nature of Islam and provide an understanding of its 1,400-year history. It will also explain the current global situation.
To suggest that Donald Trump’s policy is flawed is ridiculous and shows no appreciation for the gravity of the situation we all face. Muslims face a conflict of interest. A true Muslim cannot declare allegiance to both totalitarianism and democracy, two diametrically opposite forms of government.
