In defence of Abhisit

As soon as Eric Bahrt writes outside his admirable defences of animal rights, he evokes a feeling of deja vu. His recent letters about former premier Abhisit Vejajjiva are a good example.

Abhisit never had the chance to achieve his goals because he was forced to cooperate with other, less ethical parties, like the one led by someone from Suphan Buri. Doesn’t Bahrt realise that Abhisit is the most decent politician Thailand has had in the recent history? To call him a cruel dictator goes far beyond reality. It shows Bahrt’s cognitive dissonance, his blindness and absence of any knowledge of recent politics. Please stick to your animals and spare us your diatribes against a decent man.
