Tottenham Hotspur to wear AIA Thailand shirt Monday night

English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur will wear special edition match shirts supporting AIA Thailand’s ‘Sharing a Life’ initiative during Monday night’s clash with West Bromwich Albion.

The club will replace its usual AIA logo on the front of the team’s shirts to promote an initiative aimed at promoting improved health and quality of life for thousands across disadvantaged communities in Thailand.
Match-worn shirts will be signed by the players and auctioned off to raise funds for one of the ‘Sharing a Life’ beneficiary charities, Kanchanabaramee Foundation.
The Foundation aims to educate up to 70,000 people across Thailand in self-examination for breast cancer, as well as funding the best mobile mammography unit in South-East Asia that will save 6,000 at-risk lives per year.
As part of AIA’s commitment to Tottenham Hotspur, a percentage of funds raised through the shirt auction will go to Spurs Wishes, a charitable body established by the Club to provide memorable and uplifting experiences to terminally ill fans and their families.
Donna-Maria Cullen, Executive Director, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “As a football club with a truly global platform, we are well-placed to raise awareness of good causes on an international level, using the power of football to create life-changing opportunities for people in disadvantaged communities, both at home and abroad.
Sang Hui Lee, AIA Thailand CMO, said:  “Since cancer is the leading cause of death in Thailand, we are proud to work in partnership with Kanchanabaramee Foundation to help breast cancer patients and providing screenings for underprivileged people that are most vulnerable to breast cancer.
This is a unique opportunity for Spurs fans to join forces to contribute to the Thai society in this great fundraising initiative.”
