Your summer disguise

Even if you're hiding behind Rosemanclub sunglasses, everybody knows your're the chic one

The military brass tells us Thailand’s future is so bright we’re apt to be blinded by our dazzling success, so best make sure you’re wearing some exceedingly cool sunglasses like the summer models from local new-wave eyewear retailer Rosemanclub.
They’ve got some vintage looks and other notions, with every model fashioned from top-quality acetate by veteran craftsmen in Japan.
The one called Jarvis Graphite has ultra-slim rectangular lens frames and the trendy angle-cut arms in three colours. The Darwin Cloud is an updated version of the classic Kin model in three different styles, more functional, with slimmer frames and more comfort behind the ears – which will be important when you’re dancing into that bright future!
Both the Jarvis and the Darwin have some pretty neat clips-on in various shades (yes, pun intended) so you don’t have to always look exactly the same.
The Aki has typically been available in several hues and now there’s a pink edition too, inspired by Japan’s beloved springtime cherry blossoms. The Katsu is the neutral tone of sea salt and has cropped frames that take clip-on lenses as well.
The model named Yuu Brown Whiskey has oversized frames for maximum protection from the sun and comes in a new mixed red-brown. And the Alfie Charcoal is called that because the frames are a lightly sooty grey, with an alloy body and a look that’s endearingly old-fashioned and a little on the formal side.
