Time Bernie’s fans got with the programme
I’d like to put the Bernie Sanders-Hillary Clinton conflict into perspective.
Hillary Clinton kicked his butt! She got millions more votes in the primaries than he did. So, without the email scandal and the superdelegates, Clinton still would have won hands down.
For Sanders, who was never a Democrat, to come waltzing in after all these years and demand that the party change its rules to meet his needs showed arrogance at an appalling level.
Still, I think Sanders did some good and was gracious enough to ultimately endorse Mrs Clinton.
As for the Sanders holdouts who are willing to help elect Donald Trump – who calls Mexicans “rapists” and women “fat pigs” and wants to legalise torture – they are the real sell-outs to the very people Sanders is suppose to represent.
