Now the police are back again, but setting up cones across the entire road on long straightaways where cars and bikes reach top speed. Of course they obstruct the lane that motorbikes are foolishly relegated to in large gangs of 20 or so, so as not to miss a chance to intimidate the poorest once again. Police can be seen running out into traffic almost causing accidents every few seconds.
Abolish this stupid law about motorbikes having to stay in the slow lane. It’s the most dangerous lane for the least protected vehicle. Abolish the law on motorbikes using flyovers as well. Motorbikes are the fastest things on Bangkok roads. Stop letting the police use these silly antiquated laws to make a quota that does nothing to reduce accidents. Stop them running the traffic lights manually. There’s a reason why they are computerised.
