BRITISH BRAND Lulu Guinness brings style to Bangkok’s streets with the new Make It Pop collection of trendy leather bags and accessories that play with geometric forms and layered 3D detailing. A fresh interpretation of the female face is presented through an abstract artistic lens in the form of the Anna applique, made up of a combination of colourful shades and stripes.
Colours of nude rose, cassis, dark sage and aqua signal a bold direction for the brand’s adventurous collection while still retaining its DNA of red and black.
The new Pop Out edition takes inspiration from Sonia Delaunay’s pop-up book created to coincide with her Retrospective Tate Modern exhibition to introduce Perspex clutches and Becca handbags, which pop in and out to create three different shapes using clever functioning pockets.
The icon of the lips is revived with an updated graphic reinterpretation and has been split in two to form the new 50:50 Lip series that includes leather bags, card holders, key rings and scarves in black and white.
The new Colette line features twin textures of calf hair and suede and a glamorous yet secure gold dual fastening system. The new Lottie pouch, meanwhile, comes with a kooky cat motif in dark sage.
Lulu Guinness’s Autumn-Winter collection is available in September at its boutique on M Floor of Siam Paragon.
