Leading watchmakers from all over the world are showcasing their latest designs and innovations at the Central International Watch Fair that runs until September 25 at Central and Zen department stores.
Among this year’s highlights are Credor’s Fugaku Tourbillion Limited Edition with an ultra-thin movement and the Calibre 68 series that demonstrates Japanese craftsmanship through its three-dimensional engraving and lacquer work inspired by the art of the Edo Period.
Ateliers Demonaco presents an exclusive edition of Tourbillion Ronde d’Or Wat Arun featuring Tourbillion XP1 movement automatic winding, a 18-karat white gold case, Wat Arun hand-engraved on the solid white gold dial and a hand-stitched alligator leather strap with an 18K gold folding buckle.
Montblanc introduces the ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph limited edition with the dial depicting the night sky of the Southern hemisphere studded with stars. A diamond in the patented cut of the Montblanc emblem sparkles at 12 o’clock and Vasco da Gama’s Sao Gabriel is depicted in a unique drawing along with the seafarer’s signature on the sapphire crystal back of the 18K white gold case.
Century captures the awakening of spring in a series of Crescendo timepieces, which dazzle with sapphires in the palladium and floral swirls on the hand-engraved dial. Franck Muller has the Vanguard Lady timepiece with a classic dial, adorned with the coloured-frame applique relief numbers and the full-pave diamonds to reflect the elegant image.
