Longchamp wants its customers to have fun with the It Bag
Customers can express their creativity with one of the four models, from crossbody and small bag to mid-size and large-size, select from 12 leather colours and choose a shade for the lining. A combination of colours in every part of the bag from body, lining, flap, handle, zippers holder and shoulder strap makes the personalised item even bolder. The best part is the initial which you can get perforated or embossed. Every bag will be customised at Longchamp’s workshop at Segre which takes up to six weeks to complete. Turn your bag into a one-of-a-kind until September 30 at its flagship store at the EmQuartier.
A season of challenges
Homme Plisse Issey Miyake’s new season is based on the theme of “challenge” in terms of colour, silhouette and technique. A variety of large silhouette coats, T-shirts, and shorts bear hand-drawn stripes, drawing inspiration from national flags of countries around the world. Pants are based on a hakama motif, or high-waist pants which can be styled with suspenders or belts. Patterns are created from engraved wood-blocks that merge hand-drawn and computer pixels. Vintage collaboration
Uniqlo and Ines de la Fressange have collaborated once again to present a special collection of 70 items with refined elegance in a free-flowing and open vintage mode. Earth tone corduroy shirts, flared pants, miniskirts and flannel shirt dresses express the free and open feel of the 1970s. The traditional uniform styles beloved by Parisians have been adapted into postman jackets and hunting shirts with feminine charm. There is also a standing collar coat with a hat reminiscent of French actress Catherine Deneuve.
Adidas moves to upper class
Adidas Originals announces a bold visual update to the OG NMD silhouette, presenting two new versions of the groundbreaking shoe with a unique twist. Taking a strictly tonal approach to the shoe’s design, each element of the NMD’s upper, from a stretch mesh construction and welded three-stripes to its heel unit and tab, is rendered in pure white and black palettes. The NMD’s signature mesh upper has been rendered with a fully reflective finish, creating a truly unique release that’s set to turn heads.
