An alternative view of climate change

For the first time in recorded history, carbon-dioxide levels in the Earth’s atmosphere have risen above the 400-parts-per-million benchmark.

CO2 in the air increases plant growth, improving the health and life cycles of the Earth, thereby increasing the numbers of wild animals. But it brings warming that melts ice caps and raises ocean levels, which is detrimental to coastal cities and island nations. So it is good for the Earth, bad for mankind.
So, which is more important, humankind or Earth?
China is the primary contributor to the increase, so is that bad or good?
Meanwhile, in the history of mankind there have been ice ages and hot years. Records show the last millennium was dotted by “little ice ages” during which, for example, Europeans ice-skated on ponds in late spring.
Climate changes are a fact of living on Earth.
