Shine Lite on some impressive specifications

AN AFFORDABLE 4G smartphone with a fast Internet connection, the Alcatel Shine Lite is a good buy for anyone looking for a sturdy phone for less than Bt6,000.
Shine Lite comes in a metal body with 2.5D curved glass protecting both the display and its back. And despite the low price, the smartphone even has a fingerprint sensor for locking and unlocking it.
Available in Pure White and Satin Gold, it weighs 156 grammes and boasts a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280x720 pixels resolution coated with an anti-fingerprinting product to prevent smearing. The display is bright with 400 nits and 1,000:1 contrast ratio.
The fingerprint sensor is located at the back of the phone in a position that allows you to comfortably rest your index finger to scan to unlock the phone. During the test, I found it worked effectively and the scanning of my fingers was easy.
The Shine Lite is powered by low-cost MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor running at 1.3 GHz. It has two gigabytes of working memory or RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which is expandable with a microSD card by up to 128GB. The phone runs on Android 6.0 operating system and it has two nano SIM slots, one of them sharing the microSD slot.
Although it is not powered by the fast Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, the speed is more than adequate for everyday use.
Both touch screen and menus were responsive during the test.
And best of all, the Shine Lite supports LTE 4G connection. I tested it on TrueMove H’s LTE network and was impressed by |the connection speed. Using the Ookla speedtest, the phone achieved the download speed of 80.08 Mbps and upload speed of 32.69 Mbps.
The phone has a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture lens. The image quality was okay for a smartphone in a well-lit environment.
The phone has a 2,460 mAh built-in battery, which takes about two-and-a-half hours to charge. Another nice feature of Shine Lite is that it can play high-resolution audio format of FLAC 24bit/192kHz smoothly. I tested it with Sony’s MDR-1ABT high-res headphones and found the details clear and the bass powerful.
