IF YOU believe “simple is best”, get ready to fall in love all over again with All Six to Twelve Cafe & Social Bar, an old favourite that’s just introduced an array of new dishes and creative drinks that downplay the fuss and really let you unwind.
All Six to Twelve was among the first places to go for lofty decor to complement simple and hearty food and drinks. The city’s dining scene has evolved since, offering more of everything, but All Six to Twelve has stood by its no-frills concept. It’s still one of the best spots to fully relax through an evening amid tasty, affordable “modern Thai” fare with street-food flair.
Right from the start, the menu makes things easy. Any item can be an appetiser or a main course according to your mood and your appetite, and the dishes can be shared with others or enjoyed alone.
Wanchai “Chef Tee” Chatchotianan has recently added several playful new creations to the list inspired by his passion for street food and using common-enough ingredients.
For a snack while you’re waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive, get a small plate of Deep-fried Pork Satay (Bt120). There’s a bit of red curry in the sauce that really makes these skewered balls of crisp-fried meat stand out. Another option is the Green Curry Roti Pizza (Bt160), a slice with fragrant and slightly spicy curry perfectly incorporated. The roti used instead of pizza dough means the base is crispy and never soggy, adding up to an addictive munch.

Another dish done extremely well is Waffle and Chicken Massaman Curry (Bt130). The waffle is a warm and firm roti served with a rich and well-balanced curry.
For something a bit more filling, go for the Deep-fried Squid Roe (Bt140). You get bite-sized balls of soft and succulent roe in a batter that’s caramelised and crispy for a wonderful contrast in texture. It goes great with the sour |and spicy Thai-style seafood sauce provided.

Chef Tee has revamped your basic stir-fried noodles, pad see ew, with a touch of black truffle and truffle oil (Bt280) – a hearty comfort dish sure to chase away the hunger pangs.
If that diet plan can wait, the east-meets-west Grilled Beef with Cheese (Bt230) is not to be missed. You get sliced Australian sirloin with enough fat marbling to keep it juicy and tender, slathered with mayonnaise and Isaan-style fish sauce and jaew, the toasted rice dip, and finally topped with melted Parmesan cheese.

Hailing from Chiang Rai, Chef Tee has taken sai ua, the northern-style sausage, to the next level (Bt180). In the German fashion, the minced pork and herbs are packed into sheep intestine and grilled till the skin is caramelised. Presented alongside is an aom sausage, made with the same northeastern herbs used in the soup of the same name. The dip, with coriander root, ginger, garlic and lime, further delights with tangy, refreshing herbaceous notes.
And, if you love northeastern Thai food, don’t miss the Moji with Duck Larb Filling (Bt160). It’s minced duck meat with herbs and chillies inside a big, chewy moji and then fried. The tasty filling goes well with the slightly creamy, rice package that’s surprisingly not greasy at all.

Healthier options are available. We recommend the Honey Toast Salad (Bt170) of crunchy fresh rocket leaves tossed with pomegranate pearls and bacon bits in a milk-and-sesame dressing. This little dish can really fill you up thanks to the honey-glazed bun on the side and poached egg on top.
All Six to Twelve also offers an extensive list of cocktails and beer and there are several wine selections.
