We live in the 3rd road and the area is set aside for housing. It has new karaoke places and discos between Klang and North Road opening weekly. Some places are next door to apartments with them screaming late at night, so it’s become impossible for us residents to sleep. But we residents have nowhere to go. The latest noisiest discos have been open over a month now from 11pm to 6am each night. How have people been able to mourn the Great King Bhumibol, I don’t know. I have not been able to do so because of the lack of silence at night. Police pass by there in the early mornings and do nothing! Noise can be heard a kilometre away and we live only 300 metres from this.
How does Pattaya City Hall authorise discos in areas set aside for living? Pattaya should be controlled by a military council. Somchai wants silence, please!
