Democracy under attack by moneyed global movement

To state, “Authoritarian regimes and dictators around the world must feel vindicated by the just-concluded presidential race in the United States” is out of order. In fact the whole article would appear to have been based on information from the mainstream media rather than on the facts. Therein lies the question, “What went wrong with the system, many people asked?”
Suggesting that “The First Amendment and the independent media ensure that people will always have the right to speak up and be heard, even if they have made the wrong choice” confirms a lack of understanding of the real situation prevailing during the election period. The media was not only biased in favour of Hillary Clinton, it was effectively her personal propaganda machine. This was blatantly obvious. Together with the fact that Clinton was under investigation by the FBI and the NYPD on three serious counts, “is a systemic breakdown of the electoral process” and that is not going too far. It is exactly that. Democracy has not failed, it has been 
corrupted with the rule of law becoming politicised due to 
protective inaction by the Department of Justice favouring Clinton.
The Brexit referendum was pure democracy at work. Yes it has subsequently “gone wrong” and for the same reason that the US race for the White House was not exemplary of democratic process. Democracy is under attack by a globalist movement intent on forming a totalitarian single world government based on and supported by huge money, many trillions of dollars.
