Theme for Philippines’ chairmanship of Asean: a clarification
Re: “Philippines well poised to lead Asean”, Editorial, November 25.
We would like to point out that the correct theme for the Philippines’ chairmanship of Asean in 2017, as announced by President Rodrigo Duterte at September’s Asean Summit in Vientiane, is “Partnering for change, engaging the world” and not “Partnership for changes, engaging the world” as stated in your editorial.
