The Thai-Dutch duo who will drive their new Ferrari 488 GT 3 in plan to focus their tour on Europe this year with a new partnership with Kessel Racing of Switzerland.
“Joining five tough circuits of Blancpain GT in Europe is a new challenge for us. The conditions and the level of the competitors will bring us to another level,” said Pitti who won GT Asia Series at the Fuji International Speedway last year.
“It won’t be easy to finish on a podium in Blancpain as European drivers have the advantage of the conditions and the weather. But with help from Kessel Racing who will take full charge on the car preparation and all technical aspects, van Dam and I are confident we stand a chance,” Piti said.
Dutchman van Dam said: "Piti and I have to learn new tracks and get more familiar with the new Ferrari 488. We have already done once race but we need to learn and build up our experience."
"(About he tracks in Europe) Actually it's very similar in terms of length and speed to the Asian ones. However, the condition is different. In Asia, its normally hot except for Japan. But in Europe we have to go through some tracks that there might be snow like in Germany. So we have some different conditions to get used to."
PT 12 Motor Sport will compete in five Blancpain GT Series starting from Italy in April, England in May, Begium in June, Hungary in August and Germany in September.
