Matina Sukhahuta of Sretsis has been hard at work in recent months putting pen to paper and coming up with fantastical designs for her charming children’s wear line Little Sister. The creative director and founder of Little Sister, Matina recently launched the Little Sister Play House at Central Chidlom and took the opportunity to showcase her “Once Upon A Time…” collection.

With “Once Upon Time…”, Little Sister takes little ones on an adventure into untold fairytales, adapting the classics and adding the design team’s charming twists.
All fabrics are culled from Sretsis extensive, expertly looked after archives, and include the brand’s well-loved signature prints. Specially designed to suit little misses aged 2 to 10, “Little Sister” relies on classic children’s wear silhouettes and timeless ruffles and bows, with single and separate pieces for everyday use that once mixed and matched can light up any formal functions. Short dresses, bloomers, overalls, tutus and other fun items are affectionately made by a little sister, for little sisters.
Stepping out of the fantasy world, Little Sister manifested a larger-than-life fairytale book, opening up as the lights turned on and transporting the little models straight from Wonderland to the runway. With little celebrities showcasing the latest designs from the collection, parents sat stage side lovingly cheering on the kids. Snow, the daughter of singer Patiparn “Mos” and Duangporn Patavekarn, Cheunjai, the daughter of Panida and musician Trai Bhumiratna, Risa, the daughter of Issaret and Nathinee Chirathivat, and Dissara, daughter of Ravi and Isavara Kumarohita, along with 40 other tots stole the show with their innocent walks and skips down the runway.
