Feast of music in store for fans in eight provinces
GMM Grammy, in collaboration with Chang Music Connection, is taking more than 100 artists, actors, actresses and TV hosts on a road show to eight provinces. Titled “Grammy Maha Sanook”, the even kicks off today and will last until June 24.
“It is a large gathering of people from the entertainment circle at GMM Grammy, including GDH, Channel One, and Channel 25, as well as artists of all kinds of music -- from pop, rock to luk thung -- who will go on a road show to eight provinces. In other words, we are giving happiness to everyone, our loyal fans,” says Saksakul Kaewpat, creative director of Idea Fact and producer of the event. “Our purpose is to meet and greet our fans. We will also have a fan meeting session, where fans can come to play fun games and have photographs taken with their favourite artists in addition to enjoying the concert.
“Of course, it is different from Grammy Wonderland held at the Challenger. Grammy Wonderland was a big event because it marked the 30th anniversary. Grammy Maha Sanook is on a smaller scale with the rotation of artists in several provinces," Saksakul said.
It starts today at The Street Ratchada on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok, and will head to the Aircraft Market in Nakhon Pathom on March 11, Ayutthaya City Park on April 8, The Bazaar in Chon Buri on April 29, Iyara Market in Pathum Thani on May 20, Suan Nam Som Arun in Suphanburi on May 27, Star Night Bazaar in Rayong on June 17, and Srimuang Market in Ratchaburi on June 24.
Today's event will kick off at 4pm and close at 10pm. It will include artists and actors such as Ploy Chompoo, Mew MBO, Atom Chanagun, Tabasco, Tukkatan Chollada, Big and Jumbo from The Star 12, the stars of series "Diary Tootsies", the young hosts of the travel programme "Toe Laew", Ten Nararak, Gun Achirawich, and Amp The Star 7. Moreover, Lomosonic will play songs from its new album, "Anti Gravity" for the first time.
“I’m so excited to be a part of this event to give happiness to everyone. Everybody will enjoy the concerts, games and the meet-and-greet opportunity with your favourite artist or actor,” says Ploy Chompoo.
