Hosted recently at CentralWorld the “Infinite Love: 80 Years of Bear Brand Sterilised Milk – Takes Care of You Now and Forever”, at which F&N managing director Karn Chitaravimol sang the brand’s praises.
“It’s been around for 80 years, so Thai consumers are really attached to it. It has a rich flavour, is packed with nutrients and is good to drink every day, and it even makes a great gift for any occasion.
“To meet consume demand we have re-introduced three popular variants from the past and also a new formula made especially for health-conscious women, containing folic acid, iron and Vitamin B12.”
And the firm is inviting people to save the zip-top rings from the can, which will be collected and used in the manufacture of prosthetic limbs by the Prostheses Foundation of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother.
For each ring donated, you get a postcard designed by illustrator Nualtong Prasarnthong and a limited edition postage stamp that Thailand Post has issued to commemorate Bear Brand’s 80th anniversary.
Attending the celebratory event at CentralWorld were celebrities and their families, including Rinlanee “Joy” Sripen, Worrawech “Dan” Danuwong and Ungsumalynn “Pattie” Sirapatsakmetha, and best friends Thanapob “Tor” Leeratanakajorn and Pachara “Peach” Chirathivat.
