Getting on but not reconciled
Readers of the gossip columns will no doubt remember last year’s extensive coverage of the conflict between Peter Corp Dyrendal and his wife Ploypan or Ploy
Now the couple is back in the news following a recent picture of them both with their two young sons taken on the occasion of the older boy’s birthday.
Are they back together? Have their divorced. Ploy has now set the record straight. “We haven’t divorced,” she posts. “But we haven’t reconciled either. It’s just a better relationship and we focus on our sons.”
Ploy send Peter an invitation to the child’s birthday party and while Peter was reportedly reluctant at first, he did show up for the party.
She adds that she has yet to file for divorce. “We both are busy with work and Peter is also back working on a TV drama. To me the divorce is merely a piece of paper. Our actions clearly show that we have split. There’s only the documentation part that remains. Once when everything is okay, we will sign the documents and make it official.”
Peter left home when his second son was just a few months old. Ploy was often asked by the press where her husband had gone but said she didn’t know. In the meantime, Peter was often spotted riding in motorcycle caravans and attending parties.
After months of no contact, the couple reached an agreement. Peter wanted to break up so they started discussing the details of their split. Ploy returned to work as a flight attendant, doing business and raising her kids as a single mum.
