Shawn Mendes to Illuminate Bangkok
Shawn Mendes is to perform in Bangkok in December, Los Angeles concert promoter AEG Presents confirmed last week, adding that the multi-platinum singer-songwriter would bring his acclaimed “Illuminate” World Tour to Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.
The young star is touring in support of his sophomore album, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his second number 1 album debut. Current single “Mercy” has been certified Platinum and has soared into the Top 10 on pop radio, and its official video has amassed over 115 million views to date. The tour follows Mendes’s sold-out show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
The singer and songwriter’s first-ever headlining arena tour now includes over 60 dates across four continents, kicking off on April 27 in Europe before going on to North and South America, Australia and Asia.
The Illuminate World Tour live in Bangkok will take place on Monday, December 11 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Tickets start at Bt2,000.
