Fans of the tasty Isaan-style food on offer at  Somtamnua can now enjoy delicious dishes at a new branch on the fifth floor of upscale downtown mall Central Embassy. 
Somtamnua has a street food-inspired modern feel with a homely touch and boasts recipes that follow traditional Isaan cooking methods. With fresh ingredients sourced from the best part of the Northeast, Somtamnua delights the urban palate with somtam or papaya salad, grilled chicken, minced beef or pork with herb and toasted rice, bamboo shoot soup and many other specialities of the arid Northeast. 
The recent grand opening event drew a crowd of celebrities, socialites and foodies. The highlight of the event was a somtam demonstration by Ploy Cherman Boonyasak for charity. The special somtam was then auctioned and raised Bt75,000 for Operation Smile to help children with deformities.
