Upmarket serviced apartment complex Metropole recently celebrated its grand opening by throwing a party at cafe and bar Chow on its ground floor in Soi Thonglor.
Krit Srichawla, chief executive and founder of Fico Group, hosted the bash, which drew more than 200 invited guests, mostly senior executives from various industries, and celebrities.
Metropole, the first property under The Crest Collection label in Asia, is an excellent choice of luxury accommodation in Bangkok. Inspired by Colonial architecture and the elegance of the Thai “Golden Age”, it’s the heart of this sought-after neighbourhood, which is known for possessing one of Asia’s liveliest restaurant, bar and retail scenes.
Chow Cafe & Bar, at the ground level of Metropole, is the latest progressive spot to shake up Thonglor’s dining scene. Serving what the owners call “Continental Pan-Pacific Social Food”, menu highlights include beef kimchi quesadilla, Asian style nachos, pot stickers, lo-mein noodles and other dishes that are meant to be shared.
Chow also features an art gallery dedicated to local Thai artists to showcase their creative and inspired works to discerning visitors.
