TK Park brings books and lots of educational activities to Nakhon Ratchasima with the opening of its new library, TK Square Korat, which aims to encourage a reading habit among local people of all ages.

TK Park at CentralWorld is lending a helping hand with management advice and by donating books to the new edutainment centre, which celebrates its opening by launching four new books suitable for children of different ages.

The first is the picture book “Nang Rot Fai Pai Korat (Take the train to Korat). Suitable for 4 to 5 year-olds, it tells the story of Boontui and his dog who take the train to Korat, as Nakhon Ratchasima is often called, where they meet new friends and explore local foods and tourist attractions.

The second book is suitable for kids aged 7 to 9 years.  Titled “Song Pheenong Talui Daen Isaan” (“Two Siblings on an Isaan Adventure”), it tells the story of two siblings from Bangkok on a trip to Isaan to visit relatives and the paddy fields.

“Korat Baan Rao”, meanwhile, targets kids aged 10 to 12 and adopts an entertaining style to provide information about Nakhon Ratchasima province.

All three books are available in Thai and English.

Also available is “Sara Sanook Soo Kitjakam Karn Rianroo” (edutainment to learning activity), a manual for teachers, parents and interested people focusing on learning activities for kids.

TK Square Korat has taken over the former veterans’ office in the old Chunhavan building and boasts plenty of outdoor space too. For more information, visit Facebook.com/ TK Square Korat.
