Event organizer and DJ duo Dark White this week announced the return of UK Nu disco duo Bondax, who will perform in Bangkok next Sunday at Live RCA.

Following the success of its Thailand debut in 2016, the electronic music outfit is bringing new sounds for summer to Bangkok and according to Dark White, is looking forward to celebrating the Labour Day long weekend with its growing fan base in Thailand.

Founded in 2010, Bondax features English musicians Adam Kaye and George Townsend. The young yet talented group gained prominence primarily thanks to BBC Radio, initially through the BBC’s “Introducing Lancashire” programme and then receiving Radio 1 airtime from a range of DJs including Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac. Their sound has often been described as genre-transcending; Moses Wiener of Dazed details the band’s sound as “the aural equivalent of sipping an ice-cold Pimms on the balcony of your council estate flat.”

In 2012, Bondax started their own record label, Just Us Recordings. The first release on the label was a track by fellow producer Karma Kid entitled “It’s Always”. In 2013, the duo performed at a number of festivals across Europe, including Bestival, Creamfields, and Beacons.

Walt Mattsson and Rory Roketto are the duo behind Dark White and specialise in disco, house, boogie, edits & rare grooves. The pair has been involved in festivals in Thailand and the region including Mystic Valley Festival, Kolour In The Park, It’s The Ship and Shipsomnia,
